He may have got rid of those makeshift kiosks and cafes or shops, but at least, he made it a point to move the same somewhere safe, and equally enjoyable. After all, they now have proper fixtures or buildings, with proper drainage and plumbing facilities. He has also made the place quite charming and clean for all to enjoy and walk without the extra negative hassle and hustle. I for one, would like to walk the length and breadth of Manila, as I do when I travel the great cities of Europe. This privilege has given me more impetus to see Manila at its best!
