Fix the educational system and it will slowly improve the country as a whole. The concept that Filipinos are highly educated is a load of crap. The only ones who are highly educated are the Filipino elites because the masses cannot afford to go to private schools. Heck, even UP is out of reach for regular Pinoys.

Iris, you are right. In a way, every individual is liable for his life or a "better life" but sometimes circumstances is really terrible especially to less fortunate pinoy.

Its not playing blame game, its the reality. The sad thing is people tend to compare leaders from different generation and different country.

What a great thing to do -- leave after helping elect one of the reasons why the country is now in this terrible situation. ;)

But seriously, it's better for people like her to just leave the country so that there will be less voters like her in 2010.

No matter where we are we always have something negative to say about our leaders. Every where in the world people always don't like there leaders. I think it all come down to us individually of how we manage ourselves in the situation, how we adjust and how we apply the recent situation to have a better life. Sometimes we want to escape, run away not knowing that we re running away from ourself.

Start changing our habits, lifestyle and adjust to the situation instead of playing blame games. We are too quick to blame.
