The Dream Match: Pacquiao Vs De la Hoya

Our very own Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Oscar de la Hoya poses in Liberty Island, New York, USA during their formal announcement of boxing match tagged as “The Dream Match” in Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena on December 6.

There are rumors that Pacman will not make it this time because Oscar dela Hoya is way too big for Pacman. See the picture? Is it a match? Oscar de la Hoya is also a boxing superstar. Pacquiao’s disadvantage is his height, weight and reach but I doubt if Oscar de la Hoya can beat Pacman’s stamina and speed on the ring.

“Kakaiba ang sakit ng katawan ko, kakaiba ang training na ginagawa ko ngayon, talagang pampalakas at saka pampatibay.” – Manny Pacquiao

I did saw the flash news on TV Patrol on Tuesday night, Pacquiao is kidding that de la Hoya hire trainer Ignacio “Nacho” Beristain, (former trainer of Juan Manuel Marquez) to lose the match.

“I think that’s good for me because never naman nanalo sa akin si Marquez. Siguro kinuha niya (De la Hoya) ang trainer ni Marquez para matalo din siya.” – Manny Pacquiao

The Dream Match is a non-title fight. Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao still the first asian to won four titles in different division and no title at stake. Pacquiao is targeting to reach the 147-pound limit for his fight against De la Hoya.

The Dream Match. Who is dreaming? Who will be dreaming?
