This entry is not intended to humiliate the author of this template. I really love this template and didn't want to replace it. The purpose of this entry is to share my experience and learn from it. What I did to resolved the problem was to download all the image files and save it another file host. Login to your blogspot account, go to layout > edit HTML > click Ctrl F > since the problem is from photobucket, type the word photobucket. Voila! My site is normal again.
Two days ago, when I opened my site, I saw the image below... lots of photobucket errors. It seems that all bloggers who use this template had this kind of error. At first, I thought that my blog had been hacked. How come if I didn't use my photobucket account in this blog?
The problem was... all the images with the free template were replaced by "bandwidth exceeded - Photobucket - Please upgrade your account."
The word photobucket from your edit template page will be highlighted. Copy the complete url of all links that has the word photobucket. Download them, one by one and save it to your blogspot or any filehost that you prefer. Then, replaced all the photobucket link in your template, one by one, make sure that you've replaced the correct photobucket link to the new link to avoid further problems.

Last Thursday, I've accompanied my sister to Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office in E. Rodriguez, Quezon City to claim her lottery price of php 23,040. It was the price for getting the 5 digits out of 6 digit combination.
It was my usual blogging time when my sister hurried home from work to look for her lotto ticket, at first I thought she was just kidding. I saw the newspaper and her lottery ticket, its true. She asked me to accompany her and bring my valid IDs to claim the price. We were in the PCSO at about 2pm. Validation cut-off is 4pm and bank closes at 3pm. Validation and check issuance took time, we almost didn't make it at Landbank. The bank is inside the PCSO building, ground floor.
Because of my excitement, I've forgot to take pictures of the lotto ticket, the validation and the check. How silly of me.:-( Anyway, after claiming the price, the whole family headed to Dampa, Macapagal Avenue for dinner. Of course, my sister's treat.:-)

People’s Park in the Sky is located in Mt. Gonzales, Tagaytay City overlooking the whole of Tagaytay and the neighboring provinces. This is used to be called "Palace In The Sky" during the late President Ferdinand Marcos regime. I've seen the Taal Volcano in different areas in Tagaytay, no doubt that this is the best place that offers the best view of Taal Volcano.
Thinking for a quick getaway from Manila? Summer is approaching, I can feel the hot weather already in Manila. We think of Tagaytay as an alternative to Baguio because of its weather, it is nearer from Manila and can get there in less travel time. More pictures after the jump.

I haven't been near the Taal Volcano, looking forward to it soon!

Almost all Roman Catholics believe in angels, little children know them as guardian angels. Guardian angel is based on what day we were born so there are 7 guardian angels. When we were in Tierra De Maria in Tagaytay, where the replica of Our Lady Of Manaog, my bestfriend asked me to go to the rooftop to have some picture taking with the beautiful Taal Lake as our background.
As we stepped on the 2nd floor before proceeding to the "roof top", the images below caught my attention. The hallway, side by side was full of 6 x 6 inch tiles. Every tile has a date, name of the saint and some information about the saint. The image on top is my youngest son's saint, Saint Joan Of Arc.

Saint Joan Of Arc - Born: January 6, 1412 at Greux Domremy, Lorraine, France. Died: burned alive on May 30, 1431 at Rouen, France. Beatified: April 11, 1905 by Pope Saint Pius. Canonized: May 16, 1920 by Pope Benedict

If I wasn't mistaken, the last time I've been to the Shrine of Our Lady Of Manaoag in Dagupan was year 1990. That was 17 years ago. I didn't know that there is also a replica of Our Lady Of Manaog in Tierra de Maria, Home Of Meditation And Enrichment in Tagaytay near The Japanese Garden. More pictures after the jump.

This is the majestic 50 foot image of Mary, Mother Of God, Queen Of Heaven And Earth

At the foot of the giant Mama Mary, a wishing well and a place for lighting your candles

The life size replica of Our Lady Of Manaoag

My bestfriend always telling me how solemn Tierra De Maria is. She never been in The Shrine Of Our Lady Of Manaoag in Dagupan. I agree with her. If you're on your way to catch a good view of Taal Volcano, don't forget to drop by Tierra De Maria.

I've just received pictures of my cousin's wedding held last December in New Jersey, USA. We had received the wedding invitation here but 'til now, the entire family were still shocked because of my cousin's gender and decision. Actually, my cousin hesitated to let us here know of the wedding. Here in the Philippines, same sex marriage is impossible.
Philippines does not offer any legal recognition to same-sex marriage, civil unions or domestic partnership benefits, although there is increasingly heavy debate on them.
In 1998, Senators Marcelo B. Fernan and Miriam Defensor Santiago submitted a series of four bills that barred recognition of marriage involving transgender individuals, contracted in the Philippines or abroad, and bar recognition of marriages or domestic partnership between two people of the same biological sex contracted in countries that legally recognize such relationships.
As of 2006, three anti-same sex marriage bills have been introduced and are pending before the Senate and Congress. -taken from here

The entourage... I don't know if the women should be called "brides maids", they still have their bouquet as well as the "flower girl" but they wore black skinny pants, hair were tied and wore wigs as their "head dress". They were on the right side of the wedding picture above. The groom and the groom were on the center of the picture. They were both pinoys, born and raised in USA.

I've just posted yesterday about the New Baywalk at SM Mall Of Asia, here'a another one related to Baywalk. The video shown below after the jump was the 2nd World Pyro Olympic Grand Winner United Kingdom. La Mancha Pyro Productions promises all of us a bigger and better World Pyro Olympics. However, the champion last year which is United Kingdom will not join the Pyro Olympic exhibition this year. There are still 10 countries joining the 3rd World Pyro Olympics, others are already competed from the past while France and Venezuela are the 2 new countries who joined. The 3rd World Pyro Olympics is really something we shouldn't miss every Saturday nights at the bay area or the new baywalk of SM Mall Of Asia.
The schedule are as follows: Click here for new scheduleFebruary 23, 2008 March 1, 2008 March 8, 2008 March 15, 2008 Since the opening is on February 16, many couples will be watching the event on their Valentine date since the Valentine's Day this year is a weekday. That could be a romantic evening. See you there!
La Mancha Group of Companies, headed by its President Ricardo P. Crisostomo, is proud to be a pioneer in the Philippine fireworks industry. La Mancha, with its network of associates from 4 continents has emerged as an international institution for creating fireworks events of international caliber.

After Philippines local election last 2007, when Honorable Alfredo Lim won the mayoralty race, the famous Baywalk along Roxas Boulevard within Manila jurisdiction, all the establishments along the baywalk were gone because of the Manila City ordinance implemented again by Mayor Alfredo Lim. Many got sad including me because what was left now was the beautiful lamp posts that were installed during Mayor Lito Atienza's term. All the establishments in Plaza Raha Sulayman were also gone, including my favorite coffee shop where my friends and I stayed after a night out ordering kapeng barako or chocolat-eh, best combined with an order of pandesal with kesong puti. Well, those were the happy days of Baywalk in Malate.
A close relative who worked as a manager in Dampa informed me that they will open a branch to the "new" baywalk. My kids and I had a chance to see how it looked..jpg)
It is located at the back of SM Mall Of Asia where you can enjoy strolling around the baywalk, the sea air breeze and the convenience of the MOA's security guards roving around. Take note: vendors and beggars are no where in sight..jpg)
This is the perfect place to watch the fireworks display every Fridays, Saturdays and special occasions at 7:00pm..jpg)
Night out with your friends or family? Many restaurants and bars are open already and there are some more establishments opening soon. Goodbye to the disposable cups, plates, spoons and forks used by mostly all establishments at the old baywalk. I supposed many couples will celebrate their Valentine's Day here next month.

Mayor Florencio Jun Bernabe, Our Guest Of Honor
Posted by myglitch Labels: line of anything, news and infoEvery first month of the year, entrepreneurs / entrepinoys / businessmen are busy for their business permits renewals, land tax, depends on the business but some businesses are busy also applying for their employees' working permits.
Just before Christmas, we had our Induction of Officers and Members of our Association with a list of honorable guests headed by Mayor Florencio Jun Bernabe. I'm thankful that the event went on smoothly despite of the last minute problems we've encountered. I could say that it was indeed a success. Some guest didn't make it like Congressman Eduardo Zialcita but he send over the Head Executive Assistant Mr. Caloy Vinculado. We also have Paranaque City Health Department Head Dr. Olga Virtucio, Baclaran Councilor Roland Gabriel and City Administrator Atty. Nelson De Jesus.
When our Honorable Mayor delivered his inspirational talk, I don't know if everybody were happy with what he had just announced. I know that everybody was worried with their business. I don't want to elaborate them here either. After his speech, I'm no longer in the good mood to deliver mine. I've disregard my prepared speech and went impromptu reacting to "inspirational talks" of our honorable guests.

Sometimes life is unfair...
But sometimes it makes you complete.
How I wish life will be happy the same as I dream of...
With your love one at your side...
Caring.. comforting.. loving.. and the happiest part?
Stays with you through thick and thin.
Love is a curious substance,
One that acts differently of how much you have it.
It can literally, be a miracle drug,
A cure to anything that life may throw at you.
It may give you more than enough reasons to live
Inspite of the pain and suffering that you may be going through.
But sometimes it acts like a poison.
Slowly and painfully, it drains your life away
To the point that you wish you were dead.
Ironic, that love is still the antidote..
Cookie Monster said,
"Sometimes me think love is what last cookie is for.
Me give up the kast cookie for you."
Everyone dreams of meeting someone
Warm, funny, caring and thoughtful.
When I met you...
I ended up with nothing...
Nothing more to ask for.
A perfect partner in life is someone you can be with
And talk about anything without realizing that the day is over...
Someone who will always listen and feel twice the
The joy or pain youre going through...
When you start to feel that "connection, nevery let it go
Because there is more to companionship than to love only.
Because in the end, when all else fails and are consumed,
You will always hold on to those times
When you don't need to hear the words, "I LOVE YOU".
Always remind yourself that the best way to love
Is to give love as a gift --
Freely, willingly and without expectation.
The purpose of loving is not to loved back,
But simply to love.
Isn't it magical that in the world
Filled with people,
God has found a way for us to know each other,
I think HIM with all my heart because
When He planned my life,
He included you.
They say if love becomes painful,
Its time to let that love go
And save yourself but keep this in mind:
"If love is true, pain is never a reason to let go."
Do you know what real love is?
Its when you go through the hard trials of trust and sacrifice..
And still wake up every morning, falling in love all over again.
A romantic love is not a one night stand
Nor a series of cumshots.
Its a long term engagement between two private organs...
"THE HEARTS"...
Love is like the rain, it gently pours but sometimes,
Its raging fast.
But why is the rain so special?
Because like love...
You can feel it,
but you can't stop it.
I love you for who you are
Even if you're bad or good
I will still love you...
You learn to like someone when you find out
What makes them laugh,
But you can never truly love someone until you find out,
What makes them cry.
Its so much easier...
To sat that you don't love someone,
Than to try to explain to everyone
All the reasons why you still do...
Its not certain whether the one you have now
Is the one you'll be with for the rest of your life.
There's even no guarantee if the one you just met
is the one who wil llove you forever.
Because there's no such thing as the ideal man or woman..
No such thing as the right person or the right one..
It is us who can make love last a lifetime.
So id ever somebody asks you:
"Is he/she the right one?"
You may answer:
"I'm not sure but I intend to
Make him/her my only one."
Love for the sake of love without expecting anything in return?
Yeah, ideal.
But one can we really expect ourselves to feel this way?
Act?
Yes.
But feel?
Maybe not.
I believe love is giving a big part of yourself,
And in the process, you find yourself
Needing some of it back!

I'm surprised to received this email this morning, pictures of Manny "Pacman" Pacquiao dancing with women at The Embassy. Scandal indeed because he is a married man. Why did I post it? Manny Pacquiao is known to boxing, an aspiring politician, actor(?), producer... he is a public figure! Everybody knows Pacquiao, he should be aware of his actions. With this pictures circulating on email and website, he should learn his lesson now and face the consequences. This issue will sure be on TV, radio and newspaper soon.
Did he looked drunk? He is still a public figure and a married man. He was dancing not with one pinay but two women. A simple google search and I've found this, take note of the date it was posted, December 21, 2007.
UPDATE: January 7, 2007
The issue was reported already at TV Patrol.

Finally, it was Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity edition season 2 big night. The Big Night with "cabaret" concept was very glamorous and just proper for the Celebrity Big Four, it was held at Araneta Coliseum started at exactly 8:30pm.
After the opening number, the hosts revealed the percentage of votes. It was a close match! Text voters continuosly voted the celebrity they want to win with housemate B always on the lead.
Ex celebrity housemates were glamorous and dashing with their production number. The housemates remained at the Big Brother house because "Kuya" gave the housemates the 100 seconds each to mingle with their love ones. Riza Santos was shocked seeing his father and knowing that her family came over in the Philippines, Will Devaughn talked with her mom over the phone in US, Gaby dela Merced talked with her kuya (big brother) and Ruben Gonzaga kissed his uncle when he saw him coming in the house. The housemates were really excited.
While waiting for the "takdang panahon" (right time), there were impersonators who impersonate the Big Four. They are really cool and funny, audience were really laughing with their stand-up act! Giselle Sanchez' spoof of Riza Santos was really funny, same as Tuesday Vargas' spoof of Gaby dela Merced. :-P
Final tally:
Congratulations!
1st Big Winner - Ruben Gonzaga (Housemate B) won php2,000,000, Sony Bravia, business franchise from Good-Ah! and 1 unit from Chateau Valenzuela. The chosen charity received php1,000,000.
2nd Big Winner - Riza Santos (Housemate C) won php1,000,000. The chosen charity received php500,000.
3rd Big Winner - Gaby dela Merced (Housemate A) won php150,000, Her chosen charity received 300,000.
4th Big Winner - Will Devaughn (Housemate D) won php400,000. His chosen charity received php200,000. PBB host Toni Gonzaga also announced that he will be the endorser of Jag jeans.

Who will be the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2 big winner?
Will it be Ruben Gonzaga? He's my first choice because he deserves the grand price more than anyone else in the big four. He's the only housemate that became true to himself and to his co-housemates from start 'til the end of the season.
Will it be Will Devaughn? I don't like him. Its enough that he's included to the Big Four. I don't like his character, not a real pinoy in every sense of the word.
Will it be Riza Santos? She's the only person that I think didn't show her real self inside the house. She's always playing safe in every situation and conscious on whatever the people outside might think about her.
Will it be Gaby dela Merced? She's my second choice. :-) The every inch model of the new generation of Pinay. Woman power!
If it weren't for Jon Avila's forced eviction, Riza Santos wouldn't be in the Big Four. Riza should thank Jon for that. When Toni Gonzaga asked the housemates who they think should not be included to the Big Four, Riza earned 3 votes, Jon got 1 vote and Gaby with 1 vote. Its clear that Riza shouldn't stay. What happened to the voting public's votes? The Pinoy Big Brother have something to explain here.

Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Edition 2: Last Eviction Night
Posted by myglitch Labels: pinoy big brotherThe Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity edition, season 2 Big night will be on Saturday, three days from now. Tonight is the last eviction night. Should Jon Avila be evicted from the house tonight for breaking the rules? Gaby dela Merced and Riza Santos are nominated for eviction tonight by head of the household, Jon Avila. Would Gabby will finally step out of the house after reentering the Big Brother house or would it be Riza?
Ruben Gonzaga and Will Devaughn are finally included to the big four. After Jon Avila initiated the nomitation tie-up by saying the lines “Is everyone thinking what I’m thinking? Five medallions are here. And we’re five here”... Jon's positon is at stake.
Personally, I don't like Riza to be included to the Big Four and I don't like Jon Avila to step out of the house. Who's your big four?

The best thing to do on the first day of the year is to attend mass with our family. To make this day special, we decided to attend mass at the Shrine of Jesus The Way, The Truth And The Life, its in the reclamation area, Pasay City near SM Mall of Asia. It was our first time to visit the shrine.
The church was built in 1999. From Roxas Boulevard, you could catch a glimpse of the shrine. Years ago, I didn't know that there was a church in that reclamation area until I've received a wedding invitation which I didn't attended because of my work schedule. At that time, the only way to get there was by private vehicles. When SM Mall Of Asia was totally operational, its possible now to go to the church easier. I grew up in Baclaran and I still remember that it used to be the bay where my dad and I watch the sunset.
My 7 year old son told me while we were inside the church that as far as he remembered, this was the most beautiful church he saw. I agree. Pictures were taken at 6pm. .jpg)

I was tagged by marikenya for my blues and bliss of year 2007. My apology for not posting this to my other blog, thanks for the tagging meme. I'm on my fourth month of blogging and this is also my first new year here, same as marikenya.
Here’s how it works:
1. Copy some of the description of this tagging meme and modify it with your own.
2. Provide your Blues and Bliss answers like how I gave mine.
3. Post the name and the link of all those who joined this meme including the one who initiated it, that’s me hehehe and the one who tagged you! If you get a pingback, include also that person in the link list.
4. Let’s all have a wonderful 2008! Cheers!
*******
My 2007 Blues -
-My hubby left to US last February, came back in July and left again before Christmas. Whew!
-Domino effect of economic crisis... I had bad income from our family business. Bad income means more investment to keep the business running.
My 2007 Bliss -
-Gained new friends from blogging and met almost all of the members of my mobile clan, Katufors.
-I was elected as one of the officers to our business association.
***As you can see, 2007 wasn't a good year for me and hoping that 2008 is a better year for the Philippines. Consider yourself that you've been tagged. Welcome 2008!
