My Son On KZone (Philippines)
My son was featured at August edition of KZone (Philippines), sports column. KZone is a magazine for children and teens and we used to buy monthly issues few years back. The interview and pictorial took place a day before he joined Men’s Health All Terrain Race which he won 3rd place for his age category. Take note that this was his first contest.
Proud mom? Of course but I asked my son not to tell his classmates and friends about this. At 15, he have friends his age still buying the monthly issues. I told him… “Let them know without you telling them“. He did and they were surprised when they learned about this.

I’m still waiting for the complimentary copy, I’m planning to place it in Mylar, its a hard plastic to protect comics. I told my son that he should maintain its mint condition so he could show it to his children and even grandchildren in the future. hehe… Isn’t it obvious that I am more excited than my son? LOL
How I wish he didn’t stopped taekwondo…

Thanks Vlad. You may start engaging your son to different sports as early as 4 years old. You may soon find out what he loves best. Kids are different, I exposed my kids to different sports and it turned out that only one of my son loves sports. My kids who are NOT sports minded at least have talent in arts and musical instruments.
Thanks for dropping by.
He should cherish the experiences he gets, and yes being featured in magazines too. hehe

Congrats to both of you! It’s really overwhelming for mothers like us whenever our children is achieving something.
