Where Are The Recipro-Droppers?
Its impossible to check on bloggers’ drop on our site for the month of October. I’m glad that its working now. FYI, I’m adding and removing blogs on my Entrecard favorites on a weekly basis, this month I didn’t edit anything because I can’t see each blogs drops on my blog. I’m doing this to reciprocate on blogs that have the most drops on my site. I hope Entrecard toolbar have this function.
Anyway, since I already knew that its working again now, I checked on EntreDropper members’s drop on my blog. The result? Its not updated, a blog is not valid, another blog removed his entrecard widget and most of the members are not participating. I’m glad that there are still some members who still drop regularly and included to my top droppers for the month of October.
I can’t help but ask… where are the recipro-droppers? Do I have to concentrate now on my Entrecard favorites? There were times that I missed dropping on some sites on my inbox because I prioritized reciprodropper list. Its sad to know now that I did received 10 drops only from some members. I should have use those drops to reciprocate to other blogs on my inbox.
I have 2 reasons why I might or might not stop making a post about my top ten dropper monthly. Happy Halloween to my top Entrecard droppers!

Glitchline's September Top Entrecard Droppers

I Lost My Site For 15 Minutes
If you lost your entire site, how would you feel? Blogging days over?
I mistakenly overwrite my files here using bluehost’s simple script application and lost my site for 15 minutes last night. I checked on my bluehost file manager, everything was gone. Of course, I got panic. I almost want to cry for loosing almost a year of blog articles. The best part is my blog is hosted on bluehost. I contacted the customer support via live chat, minutes later, my glitchline is back to normal. Take note that I always made backups regularly, without these backups I don’t know what will happen.
What if I insisted on hosting this blog to my other blog’s host? It is on a monthly basis but customer support is terrible plus they will be charging me for retrieving my backup database. Although its possible, I did it once there (manually)… I already have my decision to transfer my other blog to bluehost soon.
Anyway, when I login to entrecard, I saw this on my panel:

I have no idea that Entrecard’s automatic scanner is that accurate but how come I still see some sites who dropped on my widget but didn’t display their widget? Template error? Banned by entrecard because of quick page? Inspite of the fact that my site became unstable for a few days this month because of my migration, I like to thank my top droppers for the month of August.

Its been five months since I’ve posted my Top Entrecard Droppers. So, its about time to thank these guys for dropping their cards on my blog. They deserve the link more than anyone else.
Have you noticed the entrecard widget I’ve recently added to this blog? I guess its a nofollow but at least my top droppers are displayed 24/7 on my blog.

Entrecard Members, Beware Of Copybloggers!
As I’ve blog hopping, aside from the other observation I’ve already blogged about entrecard. I’ve noticed that there are a lot of copy bloggers. Sometimes, same picture or image in the blog, even the typographical error of the article were copied.
They knew that they were guilty of plagiarism but they still insist their article is original. Duh! They are using entrecard to blog hop and find a possible article to be copied. As you blog hop with entrecard, please do check on the contents before dropping your card, you might be surprised that you have a duplicate article on someone’s blog. With or without permission, nobody wants a duplicate content of their article.
Two or three heads are better than one? I don’t think it is the appropriate phrase on blogging. Does it mean that you are rephrasing and/or combining two or more articles to make a better article? You can do better than that. There’s no right or wrong on your blog, its your blog. Other bloggers can comment anyway.
My right click protection provided by whozontop lessen the risk of copying my contents though I know that there are other ways if they really want to copy them. Well, at least, it lessen the risk. There’s nothing to debate if the blogosphere’s “hotshots” are not using it, its their choice.
Copyblogging is not a fad, its a virus as old as the internet. We cannot avoid it but we have to protect our intellectual property. I’ve read somewhere (sorry, I didn’t bookmark it) that the blog can be banned or the adsense account can be cancelled. Will you take the risk, dude?
