The much awaited Manny Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton boxing match tagged as “Battle of East and West” overall income will somehow be affected by Swine Flu (already named as H1N1 virus). Pinoys in US will probably be choosing to stay at home, avail of PayPerView and watch the boxing match on TV. It is still live and not exposing themselves to crowded place MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Contract issues between Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao and Solar Sports with GMA 7 is settled. This week, a video of Manny Pacquiao was aired in TV Patrol announcing that ABS CBN will be his new media partner in future boxing bouts including Pacquiao vs Hatton Match in May 2. He reportedly signed a contract to ABS CBN so he can return to Kapamilya Network. SNN (Showbiz News Ngayon) host Kris Aquino even said on air that Jinky Pacquiao, wife of Manny told her that Manny had long been want to come back to Kapamilya Network.

As far as I remember, Pambansang Kamao, Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao used to be a kapamilya before. If my memory serves me right, his previous 2-3 boxing match were aired in GMA 7, prior to that was all aired to ABC-CBN network. Pacquiao even had shows in Kapuso Network.
I watched SNN (Showbiz News Ngayon) last night and Kris Aquino said that she talked with Jinky Pacquiao over the phone and told her that Manny had long been wanting to return to ABS-CBN. He reportedly signed a letter of intent with ABS-CBN which will cover the Hatton on May 2, 2009 match [...]

Watch out for the coming boxing match of boxing superstar Manny “Pacman” Pacquiao versus 31 year old Mexican-American David Diaz, the present WBC (World Boxing Council) lightweight champion on June 28 at Mandalay Bay Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada.
August last year, David Diaz won the boxing match against Eric Morales in defense of his title. This time, Manny Pacquiao is aiming for the WBC Lightweight title which will make him the “first Asian boxer to win four world titles in three different weight divisions”, and he will also be the First Filipino World Lightweight titlist.
